Mary Lee Picou, aged 83, of Cypress, passed away on January 27, 2025. Born on October 17, 1941, in Houma, Louisiana, she was the beloved daughter of the late Cleveland Paul Martin and Gladys Margaret Neal Martin Parker.

Mary is survived by her sons, Keith Picou, Dean Picou, and Michael Picou; her grandchildren, Lisa Fontenot, David Picou, Jennifer Picou, and Rebekkah Picou; great-grandchildren, Adrian Fontenot, Nichole Fontenot, Jessica Raymer, and Corey Costin; her sister, Tally Ann Adams; nephew, Malcolm Martin Cogbill; nieces, Denise Adams Henry, Kim Adams, and Stephanie Adams Dupree; and her aunt, Thelma Bergeron. Her family remembers her as a cherished mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, whose legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Including her parents she was preceded by her brother, Malcolm Paul Martin, and a grandson, Matthew Picou.

Mary worked her entire career and retired for the phone company.  Then she was a loving caregiver to her mother up until her passing.
