Mary A. Parker, born the 27 ^th of May 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, the 11 ^th of January 2020.  She was a graduate of Divine Savior Holy Angels class of 1961.  She married John L. Parker in 1963 and was blessed with four beloved children.  In addition to raising a family, Mary embarked on a career in Real Estate in Northwest Houston in the 1970's that would span over forty years.  Initially working for Century 21 and Dave Summers Realtors, she continued to work in the Real Estate Industry for RealPro Realtors, Coldwell Banker, Prudential Texas Properties, ReMax Northwest, and ReMax Vintage.  Mary achieved numerous professional accolades throughout her entire career and was often recognized and awarded as a leader in every category.  Her customers became lifelong friends and she enjoyed serving them throughout the years.  And yet, with all her achievements, nothing ever surpassed her undying love for her children.  They were her life.  Mary worked hard and she set high expectations not only for herself, but also for her children, putting all of them through college.

Making lasting memories mattered most to Mary.  She looked forward to hosting her annual Christmas Eve gatherings with her family and close friends, where Santa regularly made an appearance to reward Kris Kringle bells to her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews for their special accomplishments.  Her Christmas Eve parties and "special brew" were legendary.  She looked forward to Friday night dinners at Strack Farms with her family where she would sip Long Island Iced Teas and listen to everyone sharing their weeks events.  From St. Patrick's Day and Fourth of July parades, holidays, family birthdays, where she had to be the first to sing her children and grandchildren "Happy Birthday", to important moments both big and small, she relished all of the moments with her family. Mary was a lifelong member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Northwest Committee.  She was always dressed to the nines; she sparkled!

Mary is preceded in death by her father and mother, Joseph and Anne Theis and her brother John.   She is survived by her sons and spouses John (Jay) and Lisa Parker, Daniel (Dan) and Sandy Parker, her daughters and spouses Jennifer and Brian Wells, and Julie and Art Figueroa and her most treasured grandchildren:  Gleason, Emily, Chance, Christian, Sasha, Brady, Selah, and Jace.  She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law JoAnne and Jerry McCormack and her nieces and nephews: Kevin, Kelly, Brian, Eileen, and Michael and their spouses and children.  Mary also leaves behind a host of very special lifelong friends; in particular, her very dear friend, Randy Shipley.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypress Drive, Spring, Texas.  Honorary pallbearers include:  Jerry McCormack, Randy Shipley, Chance Parker, Christian Parker, Brian Wells, Art Figueroa, Matt Groth, and Zach Hopkins.
