Surrounded by her loving family, Mary Jane Morgan died peacefully at home on Friday, August 21st, and went to be with Jesus after a 28-year journey with metastatic breast cancer.  In true Mary Jane style, she far surpassed her original goal at diagnosis of watching her children graduate from high school.  She proudly saw all five of her children graduate from college, and go on to raise children of their own.  She is survived by her beloved spouse of 51 years, Bobby Morgan, her five children, Jenni House, Peter Morgan, David Morgan, Nancy Motley, Robbie Morgan, their spouses and nine adoring grandchildren.

Mary Jane was born in 1949, the second daughter of seven to Ted and Martha Innes of Raton, New Mexico and Lake Charles, Louisiana.   Even as a child she exhibited unbridled enthusiasm and a joy for life that was contagious to everyone who knew her.  As an adult, she was cherished by her friends and coworkers through her many volunteer roles and career paths.

Always a groundbreaker, she jumped into a male-dominated business by founding, owning, and operating a professional automobile transportation company, Convenience Drive Service.   At age 55 she trained for and completed the Houston Marathon, at 60 she returned to graduate school and earned her Master's Degree in Professional Counseling, and over the last two decades, she developed and staffed over 30 retreats in womens and couples ministry.

Mary Jane had a vibrant personality and counted friends by the hundreds.   She lit up any room she entered with her contagious smile, infectious laugh, and sincere interest in the many lives she touched.  She carried herself with unassuming ease and her faith was a beacon; her relationship with the Lord drew people to her.

Throughout her life, Mary Jane loved.  She loved unconditionally and her love was felt by all who knew her.  From her large family, to her many friends, to her clients and coworkers…her legacy is love.
