Mary Frances McKnight, 90, of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026. She was born on September 28, 1935, in Anderson, Texas, to Charlie and Sue McClosky, and brought up by her mother and beloved stepfather Harold after her father's death.

Mary Frances was married to Mack McKnight for 51 years. Together, they raised four children both in Texas and California and eventually retired to their weekend home in Bayou Vista amongst neighbors that were treasured family and friends.

Also known as Fran, she was a devout Catholic, an avid reader, and in recent years a huge Astros fan. Her home was immaculate and the yard had not a blade of grass out of place or a flower without a bloom. Fran's generosity abundantly blessed her family, the church, and countless organizations that she supported.

Fran leaves behind daughter Karen Wrigglesworth and husband Al, son Kelly McKnight and wife Penny, daughter-in-law, Tabitha McKnight, granddaughter Angela Titcombe and husband Justin, grandsons, Ryan McKnight, Cody McKnight and wife Mariah, granddaughter Megan McKnight and great-grandsons Noah and Raiden.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mack McKnight, her sons Kendall and Kyle McKnight and her brother Buddy McClosky. She will remain forever in our hearts.

A visitation will be held at Klein Funeral Home-Champions on Tuesday, August 18th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm followed by a rosary from 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 19th at 11:00 am.
