Mary Cecelia Lynch
04/26/1967 – 07/15/2021
On Thursday, July 15th, 2021, Mary McHugh, 54, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend of so many gained her wings and was greeted at the gates of Heaven by our Heavenly Father, along with her mother, who she missed dearly.
Mary was born to Jim and Ruth Lynch in Syracuse, NY. Shortly after, she and her family moved to Long Island, NY, followed by Palatine, IL where Mary grew up. Mary and her family later moved to Klein, TX while she was completing college at Southern Illinois University. It was there that she met her husband of 30 years. Mary married the love of her life, Tim, on March 16, 1991. Tim and Mary have five beautiful children, Megan, Timothy Jr., Jack, Caroline, and Kristen, and two grandchildren, Sloane and Shepherd, who were the center of her universe. Mary loved nothing more than having all of her family together and spending time with them. Mary loved her grand babies with all her heart. She was truly a rare gem and will be missed greatly by those who loved her most. Mary is survived by her husband, Tim, her father Jim, brother Jimmy (and his wife Nancy) Lynch, sister Melissa (and her husband Robert) Lee, and her dearly loved children, Megan (and her husband Ross), Timothy, Jack (and soon to be wife Lizzy), Caroline and Kristen, her grand babies, Sloane and Shepherd, and numerous other family members who loved her dearly. Mary had a zest for life, but most of all she loved being surrounded by family and friends.
A Memorial mass to celebrate Mary's life will be held on Wednesday, July 21st at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church located at 7810 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX. A house reception will be held at the McHugh's home in Champion Forest following the mass.
In lieu of flowers, Mary and family would be honored with any charitable contribution to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,
