Mary Inice Mattox of Magnolia Texas, went to be with her heavenly father on April 18, 2021.

Mary was born on August 10, 1931 in Leipsic, Ohio. She was the second eldest of six additional siblings. She lived with her parents until she married the love of her life, Ralph Walton Mattox, on April 21, 1956. A few years after they were married, Mary gave birth to their son, Samuel, who would later give them three grandchildren. Ralph and Mary raised their family in Ohio, Michigan and Texas. Before Ralph's death in 2011, they shared 55 years together.

Mary was very active in her church community and known for her kindness and friendly smile. She was very passionate about her Sunday school teaching and her family. She loved attending family reunions and took a lot of pictures when there. She enjoyed listening to gospel quartettes and took many trips to see some in person.
Mary is survived by her son Sam and his wife Elisha and her grandchildren, Samuel , Shawn, and Gianna.
