Mary Lou Jones, 74, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on June 10, 2023, in Houston, Texas. Mary was born on December 20, 1948, in Conroe, Texas, to Rachel and Frank Hannon.

Mary had a fulfilling career, working as a carpenter's assistant, nurse's aide for Hempstead Nursing Home, and retiring from Cy-fair Hospital Housekeeping. She was a hard-working individual who took pride in her work.

Aside from her career, Mary had many hobbies. She enjoyed cross-stitching, doing puzzles, going to the beach, and spending time with her family. Mary was a loving mother to her two children, Jamie Jones and Michelle Conklin. She was also a proud grandmother to Joshua Jones, Matthew Jones, Cadence Ratliff, and Emerie Ratliff. Mary's surviving sibling is her sister, Barbara Mancuso.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Rachel and Frank Hannon, and her siblings Martha Hannon, James Hannon, Dorothy Shaw, Jackie Hannon, and Frank Hannon. Ex-husband Johnny Jones

Mary's educational history includes attending Klein Elementary School 1953-1957 and Klein Jr high 1958-1961 Klein high school 1962 she had to quit school due to medical issues she later attended Prairie View A &M receiving her GED. She furthered her education by obtaining a CNA from Prairie View A&M.

Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her kindness, hard work, and loving nature will always be remembered.
