Testimony of Mary Hudson

First of all, let me say how grateful I am to have been chosen by God to be redeemed by His Son Jesus Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit. And in whose life His Holy Spirit guided me into the knowledge of all things concerning Himself as revealed throughout His word. It is from this that God's plan for a sinner saved by grace would be unveiled, to live and breathe and have our being in Him and yet existing in some way as becoming an object of God's purpose and a testimony for His namesake. It is with no regret that I depart this earthly dwelling that will return to the dust. "For we know that if our earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens". "Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away." The word of God tells us there is a time to be born and a time to die and it is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgement. For the Christian to die is gain. Death is a friend not an enemy and the sting of death has been removed.

As it was in the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth and He moved upon the face of the deep and said "let there be light ", so it is when God speaks into the depraved heart of a lost sinner and commands the light to shine out of darkness, enabling that soul to cry out "Abba Father". Born of God, a new creature in Christ, taken from the broad road of destruction and placed on the path of righteousness for His namesake. We are not promised a bed of roses. There are many trials. As the scriptures reveal, we enter into the heavenly kingdom through much tribulation but His grace is sufficient. The trials are in preparation for the glory that God has in store for those who love Him. "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

He teaches us that religion is a cover up for sin but His word exposes sin and brings the renewed heart into subjection to His will to do according to His good pleasure. He commands us to flee from idolatry and separate from all that is evil. And so it is with the redeemed.

"Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will no fear no evil for He is with me. His rod and staff they comfort me. He makes me to lie down in green pastures and leads me beside the still waters. He has prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies. He anoints my head with oil, my cup overflows with joy". He is the Architect of my new dwelling.  The Lord has said "I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am there you may be also".  The former dwelling will return to the dust. The new dwelling is a house not built by hands but a house prepared for heaven and will never perish. A house designed and prepared by the great Architect to honor and serve Him throughout eternity. As it was in the beginning, so it will be once again as we stand face to face with Him in the garden God has prepared for those He loves. "In my Fathers house are many mansions, if it were not so He would have said so."  And from Eternity He has prepared that place so that where He is, there I may be also.

It is not my desire that my life in time be celebrated. I am what am by God's grace. Just a sinner saved by grace and  "The things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace."
