Mary Gilroy Hansberger, 66, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 21st, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt. Mary was the heart of our family. Her life was full of warmth, kindness and infectious love that touched everyone she met.
She was born May 18th, 1958, in New York City, New York to the late John William Gilroy and Maureen McGarrity Gilroy. As a young child she moved to Texas where she graduated from St. Agnes Academy in 1976. She then went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from the University of Houston in 1982. On May 7, 1994 she married the love of her life and they recently celebrated their 30th anniversary.
Mary worked as senior technical support for Epicor Software since 2005, where she was respected for her hard work and knowledge. She approached every task with integrity and diligence, leaving a lasting impression to all who had the pleasure of working with her.
In her free time, Mary enjoyed taking vacations with her family, spending time with her many dogs, and watching hallmark movies. She enjoyed bragging about her children's accomplishments and continually offered selfless love to all that came across her path.
Mary Gilroy Hansberger will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, William Evans Hansberger, her children, Steffani Marie Barnes (husband, James Raymond Barnes II), Theresa Rose Hansberger, William Gilroy Hansberger (fiancé, Katherine Elizabeth Gibbens), extended family, and friends. She touched the lives of many and will be remembered fondly for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love.
Serving as pallbearers are William E. Hansberger, Steffani Barnes, Theresa Hansberger, William G. Hansberger, Kyle Gilroy, Patrick Gilroy; honorary pallbearers are Madison Schaubroeck, Kate Gibbens, James Barnes, Cole Fontana.
The family will receive visitors Thursday, January 2nd, from 5pm to 8pm at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W Main Street, Tomball, Texas 77375. A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Mary will be held at Klein Funeral Home on January 3rd at 10am. She will then be laid to rest at Klein Memorial Park, 32539 SH 249, Pinehurst, Texas 77362.
