Mary Ann Guidish, 69, of Spring, TX, passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a faithful friend to many near and far.
She was born on July 14, 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she later met her loving husband of 47 years, Tom Guidish. They married and ended up moving to live the rest of her life in Texas with their 3 children.
Mary Ann had a love for tennis and made many great friendships through the sport. She spent 20 years as the SCO tennis committee Co-chairman, helped build the SCO tennis teams and was an instrumental part in the maintenance of the neighborhood tennis courts. Mary Ann also served as captain for several teams for many years, and was a division head for over 10 years on the Texas Jackrabbit tennis league.
Mary Ann was also very involved with serving her community outside of tennis. She served as the neighborhood HOA President, school PTO President, spent many hours chaperoning and assisting for many of her daughter's high school dance team events, and spent many hours volunteering at Abandoned Animal Rescue shelter with her son.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Tom Guidish; her sons, Joe and John; her daughter Anne; and her 4 grandchildren, Cameron, Brady, Avery, and CJ.
Visitation with the family will be held at Klein Funeral Home - Champions 16131 Champion Forest Dr. Spring, TX 77379 on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 5-8pm.
