Mary Delia Dupree Butler was born in Amarillo, Texas on February 5, 1958, and passed away in Houston, Texas on February 25, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dion Grissom.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Robin Costley and Ashley Ann Butler; granddaughters, Stephanie Amber Salas, Krystal Evan Salas, Montana M. Tucker, and Emma Ray Stanford; her mother, Barbara Grissom; sister, Renee Bechtold; aunt, Patricia McCain; uncle, Aldo Ray Dennis; niece, Heather Lynn Bechtold; nephew, G.W. Bechtold; uncle-in-law, Danny McCain; and many additional cousins and extended family members.

She was a free spirit and very much loved. She always helped her mom and even drove her to the doctor.  Mary was a force to be reckoned with. We will forever be left with a hole in our hearts. It is comforting to know she is at peace with God.
