Mary Frances Duncalfe, 75, gained her angel wings on April 11, 2018. Her final days
were spent with her family by her side.
Mary was born September 8, 1942 in Houston, Texas to Jack and Estelle Goodson.
She attended Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas and graduated in 1961.
During High School, she obtained her first job at a local restaurant and continued
working in her final weeks. During life, she desired to be self sufficient and
independent, providing for herself and for her only daughter Denise. In 1990, she
received her Associates Degree in Accounting from North Harris Community College. In
addition, she earned a license as a Certified Public Accountant.
Mary was a loyal employee for Stop 'N Serv for over 29 years. In addition, she
served her tax clients in her private practice as a Certified Public Accountant.
Mary valued every one of her clients and sought to provide the upmost professional
service.
Throughout every part of life, Mary was devoted to her faith in Jesus Christ,
family, and friends. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, supporting and
contributing to her conservative values, sharing her opinions, displaying her love
for the United States of America, and spoiling her dogs. Additionally, she loved
spending time with her daughter, Denise, son in law, Marshall, and two
grandchildren, Jordan and Savannah.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise Liana Schroeder, son-in-law, John Marshall
Schroeder, and two grandchildren, Jordan Dean Schroeder and Savannah Caroline
Schroeder. In addition, brother Tim Goodson, sister-in-law Amy, nephews Timothy
Goodson and Matthew Goodson, and sister-in-law Cynthia Goodson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Estelle Goodson, her sister
Carolyn Ann Goodson, and her brother Jerry Lee Goodson.
