Obituary

MARY JARDINE CAHILL "Shug", 86, of Houston, TX passed away peacefully on January 6, 2021. Born March 7, 1934 to the late Theodore and Eleanor Jardine in Oakland, CA. She attended the University of Arizona until she was caught sneaking beer into the dorms and later flipped her dads beloved Cadillac. After that her dad insisted she move home to Highland Park, Il where she spent most of her younger years. She met and married the love of her life, John G. Cahill, on May 4, 1957. They went on to have seven children, not including the neighborhood kids they took in along the way. Mary never met a party or event she didn't love to plan. She loved her house full and cherished time with her family more than anything else. She traveled the world from her teens all the way until her 80's. Mary embodied the saying "live life to the fullest."

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, her husband Jack, and her grandson Tyler Malak. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her seven children; Colleen Cahill (Chris Saenz), Amy(Rex) Ward, Molly Fulks (Jeffery Kauffman), Stan Fulks, Jenny (Jeff) Snyder, Beth (John Lee) Malak, John (Stacy) Cahill Jr., Heather Cahill, and her bonus child Keith Kaley.
