Marvin Douglas Luna was born to the late Melvin and Ganell Luna in Baytown, Texas on July 15, 1934. He was the only child produced in that union.
He entered in to matrimony in the early 60's to Catherine Hall Cox (deceased). This union was blessed with four daughters, Diana (Vic), Valerie, JoAn, and Kathy (deceased). He later entered matrimony to Fannie Sue Merchant. This union was blessed with a son, Douglas Merchant Luna (Dinah).
Marvin began his long-term employment with the McDermott Oil and Gas as a draftsman. He retired from McDermott in 1999.
Marvin Obeyed the Gospel and was baptized at Alvin (Texas) Church of Christ at the age of 36. Although his health had declined, Marvin was a faithful, dedicated member of Cy-Fair Church of Christ until his death.
Marvin will be dearly missed, but his memory will live on through his wife of 48 years, Fannie Sue Luna; children; Diana (Vic), Valerie, JoAnne, and Douglas (Dinah); In-law's, Larry and Joe (Collette) Merchant, and a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marvin is preceded in death by his daughter Kathy, and parents, Melvin and Ganell Luna.
