Martha Joan Russell, 69, of Cypress, Texas, passed away May 9 ^th , 2022.  Marti was born October 3 ^rd , 1952, in Houston, Texas to the late Robert Gantt and Bertha (Briggs) Gantt.

Marti  is survived by her son, Jimmy Ray Gantt; brother, Mark Gantt, sister-in-law Cathy Janak, (Larry),six grandchildren, Luke, Donovan (Brittany), Aizlyn (Skeeter), Brody, Dawnelle, and Zara, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Including her parents Marti was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Russell, son Jonny Gantt, and brother Rob Gantt.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 21 ^st , 2022 at 10:00 at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main St, with REV. Mark Shook officiating.  The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.  Interment to follow in Houston National Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to Community of Faith , Hockley Texas.
