Martha Muskiet was born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico on July 5, 1958, and passed away in Houston, Texas on January 30, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Martha Jimenez.

Martha is survived by her loving husband, David Vincent Muskiet, Jr.; her children, David Muskiet, III and wife Brandie, and Bonita Simonds and husband Nicholas; her father, Cliserio Estrella; grandchildren, Abigail Simonds, David Vincent Muskiet IV, and Gabriella Simonds; brothers, Saul Estrella Jimenez, Ernesto Estrella Jimenez, Cliserio Estrella Jimenez, and Antonio Estrella Jimenez; and sisters, Miriam Krohn, Noemi Dye, Oralia Estrella, and Azucena Anderson.

Martha was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved spending her time with her friends and family. Martha was the one you could always count on, the one who was willing to drop whatever she was doing to help whether friend or family. She was a charismatic person who always had a smile on her face and was easy to talk to. If there was one thing you could usually find her doing it was crafting, sewing and creating quilts. Martha's passion even pushed her to attend a quilt show the day after having gone through chemotherapy for the first time. Martha loved spending every moment she could with her grandchildren and even teaching them her passion for quilts and crafting. You could usually find her laughing with her grandkids while they made messes with bubbles. While she did have lots of fun with her family and friends, Martha was also a hard worker and dedicated to her students. She was a special needs bus driver for 15 years with Cy-Fair ISD and learned that love knows no bounds. She would advocate for her students when she could and learned to communicate with them when no one else could.
