Martha Baker was born in Fostoria, Texas on December 10, 1938 to her late parents, Henry A and Frankie L Slaughter.  Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Andy Stout and  Becky McCarley and husband, Gary; grandchildren, Ashley Duplantis and husband, Todd and Nikki Stout and husband, Chris; great granddaughter Madelynn Grace (Maddie); sister, Gay Era Burke and many other family and friends.

She quietly departed this life on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Olivia Gardner, brother H A Slaughter, loving husband of 36 years, Robert "Bob" Baker.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Klein Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 10, 2016 in the Chapel of Klein Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at 2:00 pm in Morgan Cemetery in Fostoria, Texas.
