Died March 25, 2017, at his home in Houston, TX at the age of 76.

Preceded in death by his parents:  Robert S. Patton, Sr., and Elsie Ruth Marshall Patton.

Mike loved his God, his family, his friends, fishing and anything that had a referee or umpire.

Mike grew up in Bay City,k Texas where he attended school.  He was an accomplished athlete in several sports and was "All State" in track.  Mike attended Sam Houston State, on an athletic scholarship, where he received Bachelor's Degree in Business.  He was asked to try out for the Colt 45's, but declined their offer in order to finish his education.

He moved to Corpus Christi, TX,  in 1967 where he met the love of his life, Gayle Seaton.  They were married for 49 years.

Mike was in the Oil & Gas industry his entire career including Diamond M Drilling, Western Oceanic ,  He retired from Royal Services, as their Vice President of Sales, in 2013 after 28 years of service.

Mike served his country in the U. S. Army Reserves and was honorably discharged in 1969.

Mike loved to travel, play tennis and golf; but, his most loved activity was spending time with his  family and friends.  Especially loved to cook for them or take them fishing.
