Marsden Alves Lovell, passed away at his home in Houston, Texas on September 21, 2020 after a three year battle with stomach cancer.
Marsden was born to Phillip and Matilda Lovell in Georgetown, Guyana. Marsden lived all over the world and enjoyed many adventures. After living in the Caribbean, he moved to England where he lived for over a decade, then he moved to Canada for ten years, and finally resided in Houston, Texas, USA for the last 40 years of his life.
Marsden was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them a successfully happy life, which he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, and he always tried his best to support them. He was unendingly proud of his children and wife of 43 years, Diane. He worked hard during his career as a master plumber and entrepreneur. He owned M&D Plumbing, a company which was named after Marsden & Diane, as a tribute to their strong partnership as husband and wife.
Marsden was also an outgoing gentleman, who never met a stranger. His jovial laugh, dry sense of humor and boisterous personality created a positive light for all that knew him. His vast worldly knowledge encouraged others to respect all cultures and people.
