Mark Roger Trace passed away in The Woodlands, Texas on April 3, 2022. He was born in Nelsonville, Ohio to Jack and Wanda Maxine Lewis Trace on January 7, 1960.

He grew up in Glouster, Ohio. Mark was the fifth of seven children. He graduated from Trimble High School in 1978. Mark attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. At the time of his death, Mark was employed by ZT Systems.

He is survived by his loving wife, Natalie Ann Trace; his daughter, Abby Danielle Trace; his siblings Brenda Sue Trace, Deborah Diann Yates, Rebecca Jo Trace Wilson, Jack Randy Trace, Kip Cody Trace, Tia Elizabeth Barrett; In-laws Donald Joe and Diane Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mark was beloved by all who knew him. If you needed help, he was always the first one there. He enjoyed golfing and hunting, but his first love was fishing. There was nothing better than being on the lake when the fish were biting. Mark was an exceptionally talented woodworker. Designing and building things always gave him tremendous satisfaction.

After four years of fighting follicular lymphoma and being in remission for four years, he contracted covid in January and died of respiratory failure brought on by the disease.

A memorial service for Mark will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 20 ^th , 2022 at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379.
