Mark D. Rogers, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on November 18, 1949, in Hollywood, California, Mark lived a life defined by dedication to his family, deep faith, and a fun, joking personality that brought laughter into every room he entered. Mark had a playful sense of humor and a gift for making people laugh. He enjoyed joking with family and friends and never missed an opportunity to bring lightness to a moment. He also found joy in woodworking, gardening, playing guitar, and most of all, taking care of his family. Whether through laughter, conversation, or quiet acts of service, Mark's presence was a steady source of comfort and joy.
While stationed at Bergstrom Air Force Base, Mark met the love of his life, Linda Schnars, on June 6, 1970, on a blind date. As they say, the rest is history. Their love story led to marriage on October 3, 1971, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love, faith, family, and cherished memories. Mark and Linda were devoted members of Prince of Peace Catholic Church for more than 40 years. Throughout their time there, they were actively involved in the church community through teaching CCC, Youth Ministry, and Marriage Encounter, forming lifelong friendships and living out their faith through service and fellowship.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalinda Rogers; his sisters, Patricia Lang and Gaby Oliver and her husband, Dave Oliver; his brother Christopher Rogers, his children, Michael Rogers and his wife Jamie Rogers, Angela Ray and her husband Kristopher Ray, and Patrick Rogers and his wife Ariel Rogers; and his grandchildren, Dominic Dawkins, Darian Dawkins, Christian Rogers, Mia Rogers, Brendan Rogers, and Helen Rogers.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Chester A. Rogers and Helen T. Rogers, and his siblings, Louis Rogers, Helen R. Rogers, and Regina Jones. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalinda Rogers; his sisters, Patricia Lang and Gaby Oliver and her husband, Dave Oliver; his brother Christopher Rogers, his children, Michael Rogers and his wife Jamie Rogers, Angela Ray and her husband Kristopher Ray, and Patrick Rogers and his wife Ariel Rogers; and his grandchildren, Dominic Dawkins, Darian Dawkins, Christian Rogers, Mia Rogers, Brendan Rogers, and Helen Rogers.
Mark will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, his humor and warm spirit, the guidance he offered throughout his life, and the many memories created with those who knew him best. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to his loved ones, and his legacy will continue through the family he cherished so deeply.
