Mark Harold Morrow went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, hard work, and a life devoted to serving others.
Mark was born to James and Juanita Lee Morrow at Jacksonville Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. His faith began early in life, and at the age of 10, he was baptized—a decision that would become the foundation of a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.
Mark spent his early years enjoying the outdoors and developing many of the passions that stayed with him throughout his life. He loved riding motorcycles, spending time with his beloved dog, Trixie, boating, and just about anything that involved the water.
After graduating from high school in 1973, Mark proudly joined the United States Air Force, where he served his country as an aircraft mechanic. His mechanical ability, strong work ethic, and determination would later become the foundation of his career.
In his early twenties, Mark moved to Houston, Texas, where he raised his family and began building a career in the air conditioning industry. What started as a livelihood grew into a lifelong passion and successful family business. Over the course of more than 45 years in the HVAC industry, Mark's dedication, perseverance, and commitment to serving his customers helped build the company now known as Amazing Morrow into one of the larger and most recognized HVAC companies in the Greater Houston area.
While Mark took great pride in his business, his greatest treasures were never measured by the size of the company he built. His greatest joys were his faith, his family, and the time he spent with the people he loved.
Mark had a lifelong passion for boating, deep-sea fishing, and being out on the water. Some of his happiest moments were spent on a boat with family and friends. He especially enjoyed sharing that passion with his son, Justin, and he frequently invited members of the Amazing Morrow team to join him on fishing and boating trips. For Mark, those trips were about far more than fishing—they were opportunities to build relationships, tell stories, laugh, and make memories together.
Mark also had a favorite meal that held a special place in his heart: Italian sausage and spaghetti, prepared just the way he liked it—a recipe that, in his opinion, only his daughter, Michelle, could get exactly right.
Above all, Mark loved his family and loved the Word of God. He was a faithful member of Spring Cypress Presbyterian Church for 23 years. His faith was not something he kept to himself. Mark openly shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others and took every opportunity he could to witness to those around him. His desire was for others to know the Lord and experience the same faith and hope that guided his own life.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, James and Juanita Lee Morrow, and his brother, Greg Morrow.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jan Morrow; his son, Justin Morrow; his daughter, Michelle Morrow Loving; his stepdaughter, Ashley Swope and her husband, Dylan; and his sister, Susan Morrow Kaplan.
Mark was also a proud and loving grandfather to CJ Loving, Paige Morrow, Tristan Morrow, Ava Swope, and Lydia Swope.
Mark's life was one of determination, generosity, adventure, faith, and love. He built a successful business, but more importantly, he built relationships. He served his country, provided for his family, influenced countless employees and customers, and boldly shared his faith with those around him.
His family will deeply miss his presence, his stories, his love of the water, his guidance, and the strength he brought to their lives. The lessons he taught, the company he built, the memories he created, and most importantly, the faith he shared will continue through the generations that follow him.
Mark's earthly journey has come to an end, but his family takes comfort in knowing that the faith he so openly proclaimed throughout his life has now become sight.
