Mark Allen Collins of Houston, Texas, went to his eternal home on June 2, 2022.
He was born on July 1, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, to Dale and Betty Collins.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Scarbrough Collins, his three sons and daughters in love, Christopher and Misti Collins, Dustin and Shelta Collins and Matthew and Susie Collins. His grandchildren, Boston, Olivia and Jack Collins. His father Dale Collins and siblings; Mike and Jessica Collins, Glen and Brenda Collins, Brenda and Andy Cherry, Karen and Keith Mitcham; and many nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Collins and entered into the presence of Jesus with his four grandsons, Waylon, Carson, Hudson and Bryson Collins.
Today, if you asked anyone whose life was touched by Mark, you would hear the following:
Mark loved the Lord and sought his guidance, favor and wisdom. He was a loving husband and friend to Lisa, his high school sweetheart with whom he celebrated their 47th anniversary on May 31st. He had tremendous love, joy, and pride in his three sons, Chris, Dustin and Matthew, and 7 grandchildren. They look to him as their role model and an example of integrity, strength and honesty. Mark was both tenacious and self motivated in a creative and inventive way as CEO and President of Gulf Coast Pump and Supply for over 44 years. His natural gift of storytelling and light humor was always present when surrounded by family, friends and fellow hunting companions. One of his passions was the great outdoors, whether playing farmer on the tractor or stalking that trophy buck or bull elk. Mark loved people and was always willing to share the gospel with those he met. His generosity was boundless, and he would anonymously assist those in need. In short, Mark's heart desire was to be a godly man, a loving husband, a compassionate father, a faithful brother and a devoted son.
