Mark Edward Bonette passed away peacefully in the presence of loved ones on August 19, 2021 at the age of 51.
He was born to Nancy and Robert Bonette on January 9, 1970 in Sylmar California. Mark grew up in the foothills of California where his passion for a hunting and fishing began. He and his family would often go camping at lake Cachuma. This would become a place of peace and refuge for him as he grew older and loved watching his two daughters enjoying it as much as he did. As an avid outdoorsman, he taught his girls how to fish and hunt at an early age and could often be seen standing next to him on the bank or in a tree stand. He instilled the balance of life, the beauty of nature, and the knowledge to know the difference.
Mark never knew a stranger and enjoyed teaching others and helping anyone in need. He was a loving father, a mentor to many and a friend to all.
His charismatic and often animated storytelling and infectious laugh will be missed greatly.
Mark will be remembered by his children Rebecca and Savannah Bonette; Granddaughter Skylynn Holliday; his former spouse Misty McKnight; his parents Nancy and Bob Bonette; sister Susan and Brother-in-law Gary Barker; sister Linda and Brother-in-law Joe Eileen; many loved Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, friends and family near and far.
Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us. Mark will always be loved, never forgotten, and forever missed
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Klein funeral home in Magnolia at 2 PM
