All the grandchildren and great grandchildren called her "Nana" and they adored her and she was so proud of every single one of her kids, grandkids and great grandkids!  We were all the joys of her life!

Marj was an excellent cook and baker and spoiled everyone with her culinary delights!  She loved family and family times together the most most favorite of any thing in her life.  She was extremely intelligent and a Straight A student her whole life.  Her biggest accomplishment was giving her children lots of love and the best educational opportunities available.  We are all soaring with success and love due to our beautiful and loving mother Marjorie Louise Patterson.

She was one of many Covid victims this year and due to that the funeral will be small and limited to immediate family.

She is survived by her loving husband Don Patterson, her 4 children and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will also be dearly missed by her beloved younger sister Jean Wallace and all her family along with many other nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Ray Gillette, brothers Richard, Jack and Jim Gillette and her beloved granddaughter Samantha Patterson.

Your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated and we know she is now young and beautiful again in Heaven.

Funeral services will be at Klein Funeral Home at their Champion Location at Klein Funeral Home.  She will be buried later at the VA National Cemetery in Houston.  There will be no gravesite services.  Due to Covid the services are limited to immediate family but she wanted flowers and they would need to be delivered the day before the service on 9/7/2020.  She also loved her church family at the Heritage Bible Church at 302 East Broadway in Monmouth, IL 61462  and they are trying to restore the building so any donations to this church would also be greatly appreciated.  Thank you to everyone for your love and support of our mother Marjorie "Marj" Patterson.
