Marjorie Lee Jerram (Malone) 76, of Houston, passed away Sunday, the 18th of December, at her home, following a long battle with liver cancer.

Born September 16, 1946, in Culver City, California, she was the daughter of the late Cora Mae and James F. Malone. She grew up as an army brat and ended up in El Paso, TX where she was a free-spirited teenager having fun and creating havoc with friends on both sides of the border. From dancing to Juan Gabriel at the Noa Noa in Juarez, Mexico to roaming the deserts of El Paso, she left her magic wherever she went. She eventually moved to Denver, Colorado where she fell in love and married Ronald Jerram in a courthouse wedding. Soon after, she welcomed a daughter, Rainne, who would become her everything. Marge and Rainne moved to El Paso where they lived with Cora while Marge completed her degrees. She graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with 2 degrees; a BA in Sociology and a BS in Nursing. She eventually became an RN at Thomason hospital and worked primarily in the ICU. Twenty-five years later, after making many friends along the way, she retired and then moved to Houston to be closer to family.

Marge was best known for her quick-witted humor, brutal honesty, fierce determination, and generous spirit. She is survived by her daughter, Rainne Jerram and her three grandchildren, Skye Palomino, Isaac Hernandez Jr. and Isabela Hernandez, who were her most precious gifts. She is also survived by her two sisters, Marianne Fayrweather and Kathy Krimsky, sisters in law, Teri Jerram and Sheryl Lester, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of Marge's remarkable life will be held for family and close friends at a later date.
