MARJORIE BEATRICE HUNTER COOPER
Was born on November 5, 1943 on St. Simon Island Georgia to the late Bishop Andrew Hunter Senior and Mrs. Viola Beatrice Thorpe-Hunter. Marjorie attended John Henry High school in Georgia and finished her education in San Diego California. Marjorie worked in the school district as an educator to young students while living in San Diego California . Marjorie accepted Christ into her life at an early age and was also a member of the Church of God and Christ on St. Simon Island Georgia where her father was a Bishop. After leaving Georgia, she met Alphonso J Cooper and with this union had three sons. Allen, Craig and Brian..
After raising her family, she and Al traveled throughout the world where she enjoyed sharing her memories to her friends and family. Marjorie was a strong willed and independent woman who cared for everyone. She always did her best to help anyone in need and instantly made friends wherever she would go and was highly respected. Marjorie really loved working in her yards and had a green thumb. People would always ask her advice to upgrade their yards and that made her proud. When she finished a yard project, she would sit down and gaze out to enjoy her spoils as it looked like an oasis in the heart of a desert (beautiful green and lush). Marjorie loved all types of music, dancing and various sports, but her favorite thing was speaking to people and making new friends.
Marjorie received her new birthday July 27, 2017 at 6:30am. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Alphonso J Cooper and three sons. Allen J Cooper (wife Stefka and daughter Kalina), Craig D Cooper (wife Belia) and Brian J Cooper (wife Regina). Marjorie also leaves five sisters and two brothers along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends across the world. Marjorie Beatrice Hunter Cooper you will be extremely missed and will always be loved.
