Marion Ruth Christy passed peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2020

Marion was born in Indiana, PA on October 16, 1929 to James Russell Guard and Miriam May Levy-Guard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Allen Christy, Jr. and survived by her 4 children, Cathy L. Gilmore and spouse Larry Gilmore, James S. Christy and spouse Sylvia Christy, Jo Ellen Christy & Patrick M. Christy and spouse Neva Christy. Marion had 9 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Marion attended and received her under-graduate degree in Education from Grove City College in Grove City, PA which is also where she met the love of her life, Ralph.

Marion and Ralph relocated from PA to Houston, TX in 1952 where they began their life's journey. Marion loved to travel which she did frequently working as a Travel Agent. Of the many destinations traveled, she mostly enjoyed the beautiful beaches, Mayan culture & traditions and lasting indelible memories forged in Cancun, Mexico.

Marion was not only a world traveler, but an entrepreneur as well spending much of her pre & post-retirement years tending to her antique business and "garage sailing."

Internment will be held at Klein Memorial Park in Pinehurst, TX on Wednesday (23rd) with immediate family for a private grave-side service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association in your community.
