Marion Elizabeth Fisher, affectionately known as "Boots," passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 89, after a long struggle with dementia and a brief illness in Tomball, TX.

Born on February 1, 1936, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Marion was the daughter of Elizabeth and Fredrick Auffurth. She graduated from Lutheran High School in 1955, where she met her future husband, Larry Fisher. They were married on September 2, 1955, and shared nearly 70 years of love and devotion.

Marion is survived by her beloved husband, Larry Fisher; her son, Rodney Fisher, and his wife Donna; her daughter, Laurnette Dertinger, and her husband Mike. She was a proud grandmother to Michelle Dertinger (and her partner Reese Garcia) and Mitchel Dertinger (and his fiancée Hannah Organ). She is also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Fredrick Auffurth, and her sister, Wilma Lege.
