Mario De Jesus Mancia was born on June 30, 1957 in La Union, El Salvador. He peacefully departed this world on November 11, 2023, at the age of 66, in Houston, Texas. Mario was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

Mario enjoyed gardening, soccer, spending time with grandkids and watching sports. He was also proud of his service to his country in the Comandos, as well as the time he served in the fire department.

Like many Mario came to the United States to provide a better life and future for his family. He dedicated himself to working hard to carry his family forward and ensure they were taken care of. He leaves behind the legacy of hard work, dedication, kindness and love.

Mario is survived by his loving wife Aracely Mancia, his daughter Glenda Costa and husband Keith Costa, son Mario Mancia and wife Samantha Swinden, and son Eric Mancia. He was a beloved Abuelo to his grandchildren Gavin, Joshua, Gabriella, and Ethan. He is also survived by his siblings Juana Mancia, Pablo Mancia and Isabel Mancia and many nieces and nephews.

Mario was preceded in death by his loving mother Ruperta Mancia, brother Cruz Mancia, and sister Angela Mancia.

Although he was a man of few words he imparted lots of wisdom on those around him. He always had a smile on his face and was always lending a helping hand. He was cherished by his family and friends and will continue to live on in each of them.
