Marilyn (Noe) Roux, age 79, was called home by her heavenly Father on July 15, 2018, in her home in Spring, Texas. She was born on February 27, 1939, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and grew up in Roselle Park, New Jersey.
Marilyn graduated from Roselle Park High School and Penn Hall College. On October 24, 1959, she married her husband and best friend, Normand Roux.
Marilyn liked to travel; she and Norm took many cruises where they were able to visit beautiful locations and they spent many summers in Ruidoso, New Mexico. They also enjoyed golf outings with their friends, especially a trip with dear friends to Guadalajara, Mexico. Marilyn was an excellent card player and she enjoyed playing in several Bridge clubs with her friends. However, Marilyn valued her time with her family and friends above all else.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Norm Roux; her daughter, Kathy Graff; grandchildren, Courtney and Kevin Graff; and her brother, Dr. Edward Noe, DDS, and his wife Sandra. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Helen Noe, as well as her loving son, Scott Roux.
Marilyn "Nana" was a a loving grandmother to her grandchildren. Her zest for life, warm demeanor, and love for others will be deeply missed.
Friends and relatives are invited to share in the celebration of Marilyn's life. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 20, at Klein Funeral Home - Champions, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, TX 77379, followed by a Vigil at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX 77379. Immediately following, everyone is invited to a lunch reception at the church. A private graveside service will be held in the afternoon.
