Marie Lisembee, age 97, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 in Houston, Texas. She was born to James and Zipporah Mathews on February 27, 1921 in Dayton, Arkansas, and moved with her family to Texas as a young child. Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Lisembee, and her son-in-law, Marvin Kunkel. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Peggy Kunkel; granddaughters, Kim Moon and husband Randy, Karen McGrath and husband Mike; great-grandchildren, Lindsay Poage and husband Carter, Ryan Moon and wife Lacy, Kelsey Razmandi and husband Michael, Travis McGrath, and Kyle Moon; great-great-granddaughters, Violet Poage, Aden Razmandi, Eiley Razmandi, and Iris Poage.

Visitation will be at Klein Funeral Home CyFair-Northwest, 9719 Wortham Blvd., on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at Klein Funeral Home CyFair-Northwest on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment following at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Drive.
