It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Marie Alice Everingham. Marie passed away surrounded by family and listening to her favorite gospel songs calling her home. She will be reunited with her loving husband, Robert Everingham, her youngest son, Michael Everingham, and many beloved family members and friends. As sad as we are to lose her, she was ready to go to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Marie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Faith in the Lord, love for her husband, and devotion to her family were the cornerstones of her life. She was a gracious lady who exuded genuine kindness, warmth, and the unique ability to make all feel special. When people speak of Marie, these are the sentiments they all express and remember. She led by example and showcased all of life's most important values to everyone she met.

Marie was born in Wauseon, Ohio. She met the love of her life, Robert, and they were married for 72 years. While raising seven children and moving their family often, she overcame the challenges with unflinching determination and strength. She was always there providing love and support for her family but made time to pursue her numerous hobbies and cultivate lifelong deep friendships that endure to this day.

Our hearts are heavy. Our loss is profound. Our beloved mother, Marie, will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all the lives she touched. We take comfort knowing she is looking over us still.
