Maria Luisa (Ita) Romero was born December 14,1925 and was called home into the arms of our Lord. She passed away peacefully July 20, 2022 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 96.

She was born in El Salvador before immigrating to Texas with her family. She was a devoted mother of nine and a doting and caring grandmother. She enjoyed the outdoors, sewing, and reading her bible. She was always positive and loved to make her grandchildren laugh.

Maria Luisa was a woman of faith who trusted and loved God. She gave her life to being there for others. She was a shining example of Christian love.

Although she will be greatly missed, we rejoice in knowing she is now at peace.

Maria Luisa is survived by her two daughters, Gladys Pierson and Miriam Montiel, her son Carlos Flores, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
