Maria Rosario de Apruzzese

Maria left us peacefully to be with the Lord on January 30th, 2022. She is now United in Heaven with her Husband of 42 years, Luigi Domenico, who she would affectionately call "Mi Puchungo".

Rossi, as she was known, was Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain on October the 7th, 1952. She was also preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Gloria Rodriguez, and her sisters Araceli and Lidia Rodriguez.

Rossi worked tirelessly by Luigi's side; raising together three children, forming a home full of love, values and compassion, and helping build together a future for their children. They found each other in Venezuela, as two people that tried to escape all the difficult situations they had left behind in Europe with the rise of Franco's regime in Spain and the post war in Italy; and instead, they found each other to write a story that now has started a new chapter and will continue forever in heaven.

As a wife, she was the one and only, Luigi's true love. As a mother, she was always open to give love, as a friend, she was deeply appreciated by those who knew her, her joyful personality and her human nature. She will be remembered as a dedicated mother that gave it all for her children; a true friend and a selfless person that took other's situation as her own and tried to help everyone that needed to be helped.

She is survived by her sister Gloria, brothers Enrique and Eduardo, children Marly, Yliana and Favio Apruzzese, grandchildren Stefania, Luigi, Valeria, Gianluigi, Sofia and Gianluca; nephews and nieces.

María nos dejo en la paz del Señor el Domingo 30 de enero de 2022. Ahora ella se reúne en el cielo con su esposo por 42 años; Luigi Domenico, a quien afectuosamente ella llamaba "Mi Puchungo".

Rossi, como le decían por cariño, nació en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, España, el 7 de octubre de 1952. Le preceden también en su partida sus padres Manuel y Gloria Rodriguez, y sus hermanas Araceli y Lidia Rodriguez.

Rossi trabajó incansablemente al lado de Luigi, levantando juntos tres hijos y un hogar lleno de amor, valores, compasión y un futuro para sus hijos. Ellos se encontraron el uno al otro en Venezuela, como dos personas que venían de escapar las dificultades en su Europa natal: El régimen de Franco en España y la post-guerra en Italia. Todo esto quedo de lado, y en vez escribieron una historia de vida que ahora inicia un nuevo capitulo y que continuará para siempre en el cielo.

Como esposa, fue el único y verdadero amor de Luigi. Como madre, siempre entregada a dar amor. Como amiga, altamente apreciada por los que le conocieron, dada su personalidad alegre y de corazón bondadoso. Siempre se le recordará como una madre abnegada que dio todo por el bienestar de sus hijos, una gran amiga y una persona desinteresada que tomaba los problemas de los demás como propios y trató de ayudar a todo el que lo necesitara.

Le sobreviven su hermana Gloria, sus hermanos Enrique y Eduardo; Hijos Marly, Yliana y Favio Apruzzese; nietos Stefania, Luigi, Valeria, Gianluigi, Sofia, Gianluca y sus sobrinos.
