Maria M. Mausser passed away peacefully September 6, 2018 in Tomball, Texas. She was born February 22, 1926 in Steinberg, Germany. Mary was seven years old when she came to America in 1933 and lived in Queens, New York.
She married the love of her life, Emerich Frank Mausser, in August 1952. Together, Rick and Mary raised their four sons in New York, Chicago and Pittsburgh, before moving to Spring, Texas in 1976.
Mary worked as a seamstress for a dressmaker in NYC as a young woman. In Texas, she worked for both Foley's and Macy's at the Greenspoint and Willowbrook Malls. In retirement, she volunteered at Houston Northwest Hospital. Mary was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing bridge with her friends.
Rick, her husband of 38 years, her parents Frank and Frances Strobl, and her sister Teresa Beringer precede her in death.
She is survived by her four sons Bob (Kim) Mausser, Larry (Susan) Mausser, Ric (Mary) Mausser, and Greg (Patricia) Mausser; her grandchildren Hannah Mausser, Stephanie Mausser, Grace Mausser, Matthew Mausser, Kylie Cannon and Kevin Cannon; Patricia's children Sergio Reyes-Vela and Mandy (Kelly) Knake; her three nephews Steven (Patricia) Beringer, Drew (Kim) Beringer and Thomas (Susan) Beringer: and her brother-in-law Harry Beringer.
The Mausser Family wishes to thank Mary's caregivers and friends at Grace Care at Northpointe: Tammy, Mica, Carolyn, Jawanda, Cindy, Janneth, Ivana, Emma, Jeremy, Lori, Rosie, Ruth, Georgeanne and Roger.
The Mausser Family will be present to receive friends Thursday, Sept 13th from 6-8:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:30 PM.
The Funeral Mass will commence at 10:30 AM Friday, September 14th at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, Spring, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Mary's name to Bridgewoodfarms.org Conroe, Texas.
