Our Loving Mother, Maria Torres, age 69, was called home to Heaven by our Lord Jesus Christ Tuesday, October 13,2020. Maria passed peacefully with her loving children by her side after her battle with cancer. She was born August 11, and was a native Texan.

Mom is now reunited with her father, Emilio. Her legacy of love continues. She is survived by her children: son, Isaid and wife Doris, daughter, Cindy and husband Lee, son, Ivan and wife Nora and son Bryan and wife Mayra; grandchildren: Lee, Aidan, Joshua, Bryan Jr, Emma, Brandon, Melody, Riley, and Liam. Maria is also survived by her mother, Maria Teresa, sister, Maria "Tita", brothers, Ramon and Armando, in addition to  numerous other relatives and dear friends.

Being able to raise four children on her own, she was a force to be reckoned with. She was feisty and strong, but had a huge loving heart and was always thinking of others. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend. Mom's favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and spending long weekends with her children. She was also remembered for her joy of shopping, painted nails, jewelry, animal prints, home décor and eating out.  She was a huge sports fan who loved football. Her favorite teams were the Texans and Patriots. She also liked watching the Astros, Rockets, and even boxing and the UFC. Mom never met a stranger, making friends and creating bonds everywhere she would go. Whoever she met, they became family to her, becoming a Mom to numerous people, not just her children. Truly a one of a kind!

You are invited to a visitation on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd. Houston, TX 77065. Following Maria's Celebration Of Life Service on Monday, October 19, 2020, she will be laid to rest at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery, 14711 Cypress North Houston Rd Cypress, TX 77429.
