Maria Gardner was born July 9, 1976 and called home on the morning of January 4, 2012. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 14 years, Will, and their children, Grace, Maya, Malia, and Lincoln. Maria will also be fondly remembered by her mother Karen (Bill), father Hristos, sisters Tasia (Mike), Alexia, Nikki (Ryan), and brother John (Lexi); as well as her many nieces and nephews.

Maria was born in Vancouver, Canada, and grew up with a love of sports and the outdoors, which continued throughout her life. Blessed with athletic gifts she remained an avid runner and instilled a love of the outdoors with her children.

Maria married Will in 2006, and they welcomed their first child in 2010. It was as a mother Maria's true gift would be realized. It was her joy to give devoted care to her 4 beautiful children and she shared her passion for enriching every moment with them.

Maria Gardner left to shine her light upon us from above. Maria was loved deeply and loved with all her heart We hold every memory close to our hearts forever more.
