María Araceli Garcia, beloved wife, mother and homemaker and forty year resident of Houston, TX, died peacefully in bed on February 3, 2020, at the age of 67.

Maria is survived by her husband, Saul Garcia and her three children (Carlos Lopez, Mario Lopez and Gladis Maciel).  She is predeceased by her mother Ceferina and her father Julio .

Maria was born in El Salvador in 1952.  She loved animals and nature and loved tending to a beautiful blooming home garden, the pride of her efforts for many years.  She married her sweetheart, Saul Garcia on Feb. 11, 2000.  She was a devoted homemaker and mother, beloved sister, aunt and loyal friend.  She quickly befriended people and delighted in helping others.  She was a spiritual woman, introspective and secure in her family values and love of God.  She was sought out by family and friends for her life experience, wisdom and advice.  She will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew her.

A graveside funeral ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery, 9714 Farm to Market 2920, Tomball, TX 77375.  Deacon Kenneth Stanley will officiate.  Flowers may be brought to the cemetery at the time of the funeral ceremony.
