Maria "Angela" de los Angeles Ferrara Fernandez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on October 12, 1929, and passed away in Cypress, Texas on February 25, 2019. She was a devout Catholic.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Roberto A. Fernandez; and her parents, Josefina Mendiola and Alfredo Ferrara.

Angela is survived by her children, Roberto Fernandez and wife Linda, Ana Patricia Sierra and husband Juan, Angela Sierra and husband Francisco, Oscar Fernandez, Teresa Martinez and husband Mario, Alicia Martinez and husband Javier, Fernando Fernandez, and Carlos Fernandez and wife Lisa; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation from 4-8pm on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, TX 77065.  A funeral service for Angela will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 10135 West Rd, Houston, TX 77064 at 12 pm on Friday, March 1, 2019  with burial to follow at 2pm in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
