Margie Maree Jolly of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2021. Margie was born in Wadesboro, NC in 1937. She was a generous, kind and loving lady, who always put others before herself. Her greatest joy in life was her family and friends. She was quick to help with errands, babysitting, meals, and serving others. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Maree and Thelma Howe, a brother, Boyce Maree, and a grandson, Matthew Doll. Margie is survived by her devoted and loving husband, M.D., daughters Wanda Haynes (Mark), Vickey Griffin, Audrey Rester (Keith), Karen Jumonville (K.J.), and son Michael Jolly (Darby). She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Doll, 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Margie was loved by many, and her memory will be a comfort and encouragement to those who knew her. An open house to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, April 10, from 1 pm-5 pm at the Jolly home. Margie's wishes were that no flowers be sent, but if anyone wants, donations honoring her memory may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, or Cypress Creek EMS, 7111 Five Forks Drive, Spring, TX 77379.
