Margie Nell Isbell, age 92, passed peacefully on November 26, 2020, from this world into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born December 12, 1927 in Shiro, Texas to John Wiley Garrett and Ermel Lois Garrett. She was the oldest of four children. She graduated from Bedias High School in 1945. When she was nineteen she met Robert Ernest Isbell, and after only two weeks they became engaged. A short time later on May 10, 1946 they were married. They owned a dairy farm and raised Quarter horses in Bedias, TX. They started a family in 1947, and went on to have four children, the last child being born in 1957. In 1967 they moved to Spring, and then on to Tomball in 1970. They owned and operated a drive in restaurant (Isbell's Malt & Burger). In 1972 Margie opened her first Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio in Tomball. Eventually, she opened two additional studios in the area. She was active in the local business community and she served as President of the Tomball Chamber of Commerce in 1975. She sold her last studio in the early 2000's and retired. She was a woman of strong faith and an active member of Spring Baptist Church until the age of 87 when she felt she should give up driving. She enjoyed quilting, painting, and crocheting. She spent a lot of time doing word puzzles in order to keep her mind sharp. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lois Garrett; her husband of almost 50 years, Ernest; siblings: Billy Garrett, Ermel Jordan, and Evelyn Kelso; her daughter Gay Bradbury and son Pat Isbell. She is survived by her son Tim Isbell and wife Evette; her daughter Julie Raney and husband Glenn; daughter-in-law Sharon

Isbell; her grand daughters Kimberly Patino and husband Jay; Lisa Stewart and husband Jay; Lindsey Douglas and husband Austin; Hannah Raney; grandsons Aaron Isbell and Zachary Raney; great grand children Isabella and Olivia Patino; Kayleigh Stewart; Vann and Carson Isbell; Wade and Whitley Douglas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to the staff at The Heritage, in Tomball, who cared for her in the final seven months of her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
