Margaret Yvonne Wilson (née Tate), age 87, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, in Tomball, Texas.

Born on May 11, 1937, in San Diego, California, Margaret spent her early years divided between various U.S. Naval bases, and the family farm in Stephenville, TX.  She married Donald L. Wilson on May 5, 1956 and the two eventually settled in Northern California. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Development from California State University, Hayward, but never practiced in the field. Rather she provided administrative support to Don and his business, Grohen Tool & Die, located in San Leandro, CA.

Margaret was a longtime resident of Pleasanton, California, where she lived from 1967 until 2002. In Pleasanton, she built a warm and welcoming home hosting many events for friends and family.  In 2002, she relocated to Auburn, California, where she continued to enjoy the quiet beauty of Northern California until 2021. Her final years were spent in Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don, with whom she shared many cherished years. Margaret is remembered by her son Tom and his wife Vickie; her daughter Gail; her grandson Jeff; her granddaughter Janine; and her great-granddaughter Chloe.

Margaret found joy in simple pleasures—reading a good book, spending time with friends, and caring for the many cats who became treasured companions over the years. Her free spirit and bright personality  left an indelible mark on those who came to know her.
