Margaret Mary (Peggy) Haas
April 5, 1951 – August 30, 2017
Peggy lived life filled with family, faith and humor.
She is survived by her four children: Melissa (Blake) McElmurry, Jamie (Brian) Cain, Chris Haas (Bailey Haven) and Brian Haas (Felicite); her mother, Margaret Perrot Connors; her siblings: Michael Perrot, Vince Perrot, Patryce Jones, Barb Roth, Annette Wagner and Mary Fedde; and her six grandbabies who she adored.
Peggy was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and as the second of seven children (the eldest sister!), she was always looked up to and remembered for keeping an eye out and watch over her younger siblings. She attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Florissant, Missouri.
At age 20, Peggy set out on a new adventure and moved to Houston, Texas. There she started working in the title business at Southern Title, which led to a lifelong career in the business.
She lived in Texas ever since, growing her family in Spring, Texas where they still reside today. She loved playing a good game of tennis and was a devoted golf fan, too.
Peggy's first priority was always family – a value she lived out each day and has instilled in each of her children. She was the matriarch of her family and always made every moment feel special – whether it was a holiday, a birthday, a job well done or a random Tuesday. She was her children's most devoted, proudest cheerleader and a support system for many.
Peggy was full of positivity, laughter, and generosity for others throughout her life. She will be remembered by her generosity, her smile, and her uncanny ability to make others laugh. Peggy somehow made anyone in her presence feel loved and at ease.
She lived a life of faith, and was a devoted member of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Spring, Texas.
