In Loving Memory of Margaret (Marge) Frances Trexler

August 4, 1946 - September 4, 2025

With profound love and heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Marge Trexler, who departed this world on September 4, 2025, at the age of 79.  A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and volunteer.  Marge was a cornerstone of her family and community, a woman whose faith, resilience, and generosity shaped the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Marge's life was a testament to the enduring power of faith. She found comfort and guidance through her strong religious beliefs, living each day with gratitude and an unshakeable trust in God. Marge's commitment to her church was evident not only in her regular worship but also in her service through her work with the prayer blanket ministry.

For the past four years, she faced a long battle with cancer, enduring pain and uncertainty with a grace that inspired everyone around her. Through relentless treatments and difficult days, she never allowed her illness to define her. Even as her body grew weak, her spirit remained unbroken. She met each challenge with courage and an unwavering faith that God was by her side.

For 58 years, she was the beloved wife and partner of her devoted husband, Donald Trexler.   Together, they built a foundation of unconditional love and unwavering support, raising children who would carry forth their legacy of integrity, hard work, and kindness.

Over the years, Marge cultivated a wide circle of lifelong friends. Her friendships were marked by loyalty and a genuine interest in the lives of others. Those who knew her best will remember her as someone who made time for others, no matter how busy her own life became.

Marge's presence will linger in the warmth of her prayer blankets, in the laughter around the family table, and in the quiet moments of prayer where her loved ones will continue to feel her love. Though her passing brings sorrow, the family takes comfort in the knowledge that Marge is now at peace and is reunited with those who went before her.  Her journey was marked by faith, hope, and love.

Marge is survived by her loving husband, Donald Trexler, and her children, daughter Julie Hatfield and son Mark Trexler (Spouse Beth Trexler).  She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Haleigh Anderson (Spouse Eric Anderson) and Thomas Hatfield, as well as her great-grandchildren Jayden Anderson, Lilah Anderson and Aria Anderson.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Margaret Million, her brother Harvey Million, and others she cherished and now joins in eternal rest.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 19222 Tomball Parkway, Houston, Texas.  A viewing will precede the Mass starting at 9:30 a.m. A reception will follow the Mass.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Rest in peace, Marge. You have fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Your memory will forever live in the hearts of all who loved you.
