?Margaret Jane Fowler went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the age of 91. She was born Margarite Jenny Procopio on September 6, 1926, in Pittsfield, MA. She graduated from Pittsfield High School.
She met and married Linwood W. Fowler, Jr., of Lanesboro, MA, in 1946. Together they raised four children: Jane Ellen, Steven Linwood, Marc Jeffery, and Eric Paul.
She attended nursing schools in Boston and Houston where she received a diploma from the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in September 1958. She worked for over three decades as a Registered Nurse and Nursing Supervisor/Manager at Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.
Known by her friends as "Jane," she her husband, "Lin," as devoted members of Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, created the 55-plus group at the church. This group now boasts over 500 members and provides spiritual, social, and educational fellowship to its members and to the Tomball/Spring/Magnolia communities at large.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Linwood Fowler and his wife, Sheila Byrd Fowler, and Eric Paul Fowler and his wife, Catherine Hood Fowler. She also leaves four grandchildren, Janine (Sherridan), Steven Christopher (Cara), John, and Ashley (Daniel); and six great-grandchildren, Kenzie (18), Chance (13), Makenna (9), Annalea (3), Alexandra (3), and Zane (3 weeks).
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 26, at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375, with Deacon Dub Hargraves officiating. Friends are cordially invited to visit with the family beginning at 1 p.m.
