Margaret Marie Covey (mom Covey), a devout Christian, faithful wife and
loving mother, passed away on Tuesday  May 9, 2017 at the age of 85, after a
long and fulfilled life.  She was born on November 14, 1931 to Arthur and
Oma Westfall in Joplin, Missouri. Margaret married Robert Covey Sr (Budda)
August 16, 1953.  They had six loving children together. She moved to
Tomball, Texas, in 1980.  Margaret retired in 2003 after 30 plus years of
dedicated service in the Joplin, MO and Tomball TX school food services.
She attended Faith Temple Baptist Church Spring TX.  She spent many summer
nights working in the concession stand and cheering on the many ball players
that became a part of her life.  Those who were close to Margaret said she
was the most gracious, strong, giving, loving and selfless angel they had
ever met. She was a second mother to many, and she welcomed anyone into her
home for dinner and conversation.  She loved serving others and giving
everyone a place to call home. Her family rests in the peace that she is
with her Lord and Savior in Heaven.
She is survived by her husband Robert Covey Sr. and their six children;
Robert Covey Jr. (Annie), Benjamin Covey (Linda), Dennis Covey (Tracy),
Marie Russell (Dwane), Theresa Bateman (Shaun), Ed Covey (Brandi), and
numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The service will be held
Saturday May 13 at Klein Funeral Home Tomball TX.  Visitation will at at
1:00 with the service to follow at 2:00.  A service and internment will be
in Joplin Mo.
