Margaret Annie Chovanec, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

Margaret was born on October 15, 1941, in Dayton, Texas to Joe and Louise Skarpa Hajdik.  She graduated Dayton High School in 1960.  Margaret married Ludwick on October 28, 1962.  She loved spending time outdoors sitting on the porch waving to people as they passed by.  She always took pride in keeping her yard looking good.  Her family meant the world to her and tried attending many events to support each of her 6 grandchildren.  She and her husband loved attending local opry shows, going to the casino, taking trips to Branson, Missouri, and helping out in the Chovanec Store in Fayetteville.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ludwick Lad Chovanec, daughter Donna Williams and husband David, daughter Karen Glosson and husband Mike, son Dennis Chovanec and wife Carrie and grandchildren Melissa Williams, Derek Williams, Megan Glosson, Ryan Glosson, Preston Chovanec, Reese Chovanec, and Candace Breen.  She is survived by three sisters, Mary Johnson, Mildred Sodolak and Alice Buras, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded by her parents, her sister Eleanor Prochazka, and brothers, Jerry Hajdik and Joe Hajdik.

Serving as pallbearers are Derek Williams, Ryan Glosson, Craig Sodolak, Randy Johnson, Jerry Johnson, and Jerome Chovanec, Jr.
