Marcus Glen "Joe" Sebesta Sr, Loving Husband, Father and Brother, passed away in his hometown of Tomball, Texas On March 19, 2022. Joe was born on May 25, 1943 to John Joe Sebesta and O'tillie Hentschel. Joe graduated from Tomball School in 1961 and Massey Business School with a degree in Business in 1962. He was a beloved husband of 58 years marrying his high school sweetheart, Barbara Roth on January 3, 1964.
Joe is survived by his wife Barbara, sister, Barbara Beard (Gerald), brother-in-law, Woody Roth (Suzie), sister-in-law, Faye Liffick (Shawn Grimm) and Jan Nichols, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He joins in heaven his parents, son Marcus Glen Sebesta Jr, mother-in-law Billie Patzke and brother-in-law Marvin Roth.
Joe was known and respected by all that knew him. He began his career at the age of 15 working for Hohl Motor Company then at Tom & Bill Ford, he retired as General Manager from Tomball Ford after 35 years. He was a proud member of the Tomball Lion's Club. Over the years Joe aka "Coach" enjoyed coaching his son's little league teams and working with his son on his racecar. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, attending Nascar races, traveling, cooking for Lion's Club events and Saturday lunches at the Ford dealership. He never missed an opportunity to attend a Sunday church picnic in the communities around La Grange, Texas.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends and will always be remembered in their hearts.
Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday March 25 th at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with burial afterwards at Klein Memorial Park in Pinehurst, Texas.
Donations in Joe's honor can be made to the Tomball Lion's Club or Zion Lutheran Church Tomball building fund.
