Marcos (Jimmy) Santiago Cruz

April 25th, 1949 - July 1st, 2020

Marcos Santiago Cruz, loving husband, father, brother, friend, and mentor passed peacefully on July 1st 2020 at the age of 71 in Tomball, TX surrounded by family.

Marcos was a caring, humble, and honorable man throughout his entire life, and left lasting impacts on everyone he encountered during his journey. His love for his family was truly something amazing, and a bond that could never be broken, even in the most difficult of times.

Marcos was a Christian man, and relied heavily on his faith during the most difficult of times. His faith gave him the strength to continue fighting in the darkest of times, without ever losing sight of his compassion and understanding for others. He often prayed for peace, and asked forgiveness for others who had been led astray. Truly a remarkable example for all of us to follow.

Marcos is survived by his wife, children, and family.

Loving father to his 5 children, from his first wife Marcos S Cruz II, from his current wife Marcos S Cruz III, Terry A Hitt, Michael L Cruz, and Veronica V Cruz.

Loving brother to Gilbert Cruz, Arturo Cruz, Armando Cruz, Mary Jane (Janie) Munoz, Sylvia Nino, Margie Pena, Albert Cruz, and Patricia Cruz.

Incredibly proud grandfather to Marcos (James) Cruz Jr., Talisa Hitt, Maya Hitt, Lena Hitt, Katlyn Cruz-Villanueva, Michael (Sulee) Cruz, Uriel Cruz, Star Cruz, Gabriel Cruz, Joseph Cruz, Marcos (Junior) Cruz, Alyssa Cruz, Aaron Cruz, and Kaylee Buzbee.

Although his time on this earth was short, his impact will leave a permanent footprint on all who had the pleasure of being graced by his love, compassion, and friendship. Your presence will be sorely missed.
